About the Role
This is a fulltime, permanent opportunity based within our Horsham Branch. We are looking for someone who understands good customer service, who can confidently lead a team of professional Service Techs and whilst they love being a Diesel Tech they are looking for their next step and to share their experience gained to date.
A day in the life
- Develop the capacity and capability of your team to perform through sound leadership
- Foster a team environment that centres around customer service
- Direct and assist in the diagnosis of machine problems of technicians and apprentices
- Monitoring, managing and maintaining department sales performance, technician productivity, efficiency and non-productive time, and initiating corrective action as required
- Assist with carrying out and leading weekly service meetings with technicians
- Monitoring all warranty and service bulletins and communicating to techs in weekly meetings
- Ensure the presentation of the workshop is maintained to a high professional standard
- Develop and maintain a culture of performance across the business

Essential
- Trade Qualification in Agricultural Mechanical Technology or equivalent
- Diesel Technician Experience
- Exceptional customer support focus
- Ability to solve problems and develop innovative solutions
- Current Australian Drivers Licence
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
Desired
- Mechanical, Electrical and Hydraulic experience
- Strong diagnostic skills
- Previous experience working on John Deere agricultural machinery and equipment highly regarded
