Winery Venue Manager
Job Description
Seppelt Great Western is a 7-day-a-week cellar door and function centre. We are seeking a venue manager to oversee the daily operations of our venue. This is a full-time position and the person that we hire will show exceptional communication and leadership skills and work well with our amazing team. They will oversee the operation of the underground cellar tours, our cellar door tasting experiences the coordination of functions and the every day running of the venue.
Great Western is a quaint and charming village located on the Western Highway between Ararat and Stawell, in the foothills of the magnificent Grampians, and maybe the perfect location for your next job. Great Western is the wine and food village of the Grampians and is internationally known for its place in Australian wine history and for producing award-winning wines.
Great Western Enterprises started business in Great Western in October 2016, when we became custodians of Seppelt Wines Great Western. Seppelt is the largest producer of wine in the Grampians Region and the home of the historic underground cellars. The first vines were planted at the Seppelt Winery in 1850’s, and every custodian of the property since have always pushed the boundaries and left their mark on their property. Great Western Enterprises have followed this tradition. We have had record numbers of visitors to the property and are striving towards some big goals for the future of the Great Western Estate.
