Are you looking for a career in the Aquatics and Recreation Industry? Aquatics and Recreation Victoria (ARV) is inviting Expressions of Interest from individuals keen to kick start their career in the Aquatics Industry. No qualification or experience is necessary as suitable candidates will be provided with industry-relevant qualifications and training.
What is the Next Wave Program? ARV has funding from the Victorian Government, through Jobs Victoria, to support 300 jobs within the Victorian Aquatics and Recreation Industry. All roles are on a permanent part time basis, for a minimum of 12 months. These roles are available throughout Victoria.
Roles available include:
- Swim Teacher
- Pool Lifeguard
- Duty Managers
- Customer Service Officers
Who can apply? These opportunities are available to anyone with a relevant valid working visa, permanent residency or Australian citizenship. You will be required to undertake a pre- employment check. Applicants must be currently unemployed or under- employed as well as belong to one of the priority cohorts mentioned below: Women aged over 45 years Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people Victorians living with a disability Jobseekers registered with a Jobs Victoria partner Young people aged under 25 Veterans Newly arrived migrants from non- English speaking backgrounds People seeking asylum and refugees People from Culturally and Linguistically Diverse backgrounds Public and social housing tenants
