Support Services -Food Services Facilitator/Supervisor

Job Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and motivated person to fulfil the role of Support Services Food Facilitator/Supervisor. This important role leads our food service team, facilitates WDHS Food Safety Program, and requires management, administrative and hands on experience. The suitable applicant will preferably have head/executive chef and or hospitality management experience, with leadership qualities. You will work directly with our Support Services Management team ensuring that all Support Services are maintained at Western District Health Service including Food, Hotel and Environmental Services. Majority of hours involved for this position will be Monday to Friday, however some weekend, public holiday and on call work may be required.

You will bring:

  • Food Safety Supervisor and Food Safety Program management experience
  • Previous management or team leader experience
  • Punctuality and reliability
  • Team & Customer Service ethos
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Work effectively independently and as part of a team
  • Passion to provide high level of services to patients, residents, visitors and staff.

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or
NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements, including COVID
