Applications are invited from Grade 1 Podiatrists to join our multidisciplinary team at WHCG. This temporary position is available from January 2022 for a 6 month period and includes working Monday to Friday. This position includes the delivery of high quality clinical Podiatry services across a diverse caseload comprising high risk foot, wound care, pressure injury prevention, falls prevention as well as paediatrics and biomechanics, within community, acute and sub-acute settings.
The Podiatry department places a strong emphasis on quality improvement and professional development and offers a supportive environment including an Allied Health Early Careers Program.
Key Selection Criteria include:
Bachelor of Podiatry or equivalent
- Current Podiatrist registration with AHPRA
Current Victorian Drivers Licence
Highly proficient written and oral communication skills
Well-developed interpersonal skills
Membership with an Australian Podiatry Association
Awareness of National Safety and Quality Health Service (NSQHS) Standards / Aged Care Quality Standards
- Computer literacy
- Demonstrated ability for collaborative teamwork within a multidisciplinary framework
- High level organisation skills
- Commitment to Continuing Professional Development
