The Health Service:

Stawell Regional Health (SRH) is part of Grampians Health – the largest regional health service in Victoria which has four campuses across Ballarat, Stawell, Horsham and Edenhope. SRH is a growing health provider in the Grampians region with an extensive range of services including acute, sub-acute, oncology, community and aged care.

The Role:

In this role you will be supporting the development, implementation and facilitation of best practice systems and processes in risk management, legislative compliance and business continuity management across SRH as well as supporting improvement activities in response to identified risks and opportunities.

Reporting directly to the Director of Quality, Risk and Performance Improvement you will work with management and staff on developing and improving SRH’s risk, compliance and improvement systems.

About You:

  • You are a dynamic and proven leader with a commitment to person-centred clinical design and an interest in new and different approaches to improvement and change management. You have strong problem solving and strategic thinking capabilities with demonstrated experience planning, developing, evaluating and implementing improvement, risk and compliance systems in a healthcare and / or community setting.
  • You have high level interpersonal and communication skills, including working successfully across multidisciplinary teams and leading change. You are team focussed and committed to a learning environment.
  • You are able to research and prepare complex reports, write policies and deliver presentations to multiple audiences.
  • You have highly developed IT skills including an understanding of databases and compliance software.
  • You have excellent attention to detail and time management skills. You have an understanding and commitment to privacy and confidentiality.
