Job Description

WDHS has opportunities for Personal Services Assistants to join our committed team at the Grange.

This position includes providing support and customer service to residents, visitors and staff. The ability to work as part of a team is essential and previous experience in a health care setting is desirable. This position includes kitchen duties, resident meal delivery, cleaning of resident rooms, linen & waste management duties and general facility cleaning duties.

The suitable applicant will hold a Food Handling Certificate and the ability to work as part of a team is essential.

Hours of work may include shift work, weekends and public holidays.

Closing Date: Sunday 09 January 2022

Proposed Interview Date: Week Commencing Monday 10 January 2022

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current employee National Criminal Police Check.

Dependent on your position you be required to obtain an employee Victorian Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check.

All successful applicants are to comply with mandatory vaccination requirements, including COVID, at WDHS – current immunisation records and evidence is required.
