Continuous Improvement Lead
Full Time – Permanent
Band 7 – $94,653 – $104,835 annually excluding superannuation
The Business Systems and Transformation Department leads functional continuous improvement strategies and programs supporting the organisation to modernise and optimise operational efficiency, improving customer experience and how Council delivers services to the community. This team plays a pivotal role in developing our long-term financial sustainability.
Southern Grampians Shire Council is in the process of replacing andor improving its IT environment, moving to modern SaaS systems, technologies to support remote and flexible working environments as well as expanding the access to its IT systems to all staff. The Continuous Improvement Lead will have responsibilities in the change management process for related projects. This role will work closely with the Manager Business Systems and Transformation to develop and implement a continuous improvement program that maps out the business processes across service delivery teams, analyse the efficiency of those processes, plan and priorities improvements and put in place systems to measures the success of this work.
The Continuous Improvement Lead will be responsible for upskilling service delivery teams using Lean methodology principles to increase their capacity to participle in the continuous improvement program.
