Band 3 

Hamilton Indoor Leisure and Aquatic Centre (HILAC) currently require a qualified Health and Fitness professional to join the highly motivated team. The position provides a high level of customer service and support in the provision of gym programs, personal training, group exercise classes and general gym assistance. If you have a passion for building the health and fitness of our community, love working as part of a team and are self-driven to guide community members of all ages, circumstances and abilities to achieve a variety of health and fitness goals, we invite you to apply. 

HILAC run a variety of circuits, small group and one-on-one personal training, and group exercise classes and we’re looking for qualified Personal Trainers to meet the demand. Ability to lead all types of our group exercise offerings or a willingness to learn is highly desirable. A mix of early morning, daytime and evening work is required, with the option of weekends. 

The successful applicant will hold relevant Certificate 3 and/or 4 Fitness Qualifications or be studying in the field, with guidance and mentoring available. Qualifications in Yoga, Pilates or Body Balance is highly desirable or a willingness to obtain.

You will need to be flexible in time with a range of shifts available from early mornings to evening work required.
