Clinical support nurse / educator training and development

Job Description

The applicant must demonstrate commitment to providing direct clinical support and instruction to, and for mentoring graduates, newly appointed or less experienced Employees to develop high quality clinical care skills. The responsibilities of the Clinical Support Nurse works under the direction of the Training and Development Manager across all areas of the health service.

The successful applicant will need to be an excellent communicator and team player who is both positive and self-motivated.

The successful applicant will require:

  • Current registration with AHPRA as a Registered Nurse
  • Excellent clinical knowledge and skills, communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to assess and provide constructive feedback to graduate nurses
  • Motivation for workplace learning
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or working towards same

Appointment is subject to Immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19), current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
