This new position is an exciting chance for a community member with lived experience of a health service to help East Grampians Health Service deliver safe, effective and person centred care.
The position will increase opportunities for consumers and volunteers to contribute to the health service and assist with gathering information and feedback from consumers about their views and experiences of health care. Training and support for consumers is an important part of this position. The position will also provide the consumer voice for improvement activities.
It is essential that applicants have lived experience of a health service, either as a patient or carer (but not employed by a health service in any capacity other than a consumer or volunteer). This position would suit someone with the confidence to actively engage the local community.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word) is required.
Appointment is subject to Immunisation clearance (Including COVID-19), current and satisfactory Employment Checks (Police and Working With Children Checks)
For further information about the position, please contact Jaclyn Bishop (Manager, Development and Improvement) at [email protected] or (03) 5352 9437.
