East Grampians Health Service is located in beautiful Western Victoria. Only a short 2-hour trip up the highway from Melbourne or Geelong and a stone’s-throw away from the Grampians National Park.

East Grampians Health Service aims to meet the needs of the community by offering a vast array of services based at the community health centre in Ararat. We also offer outreach services to Willaura, Lake Bolac and Elmhurst. Our services include dental, physiotherapy, exercise physiology, occupational therapy, podiatry, speech pathology, dietetics, diabetes education and social work.  These services support other clinical areas including our acute and residential aged care patients. Our community health centre also hosts speciality clinics such as consulting suites for our visiting surgeons and maternal child and health.

About the Role

Our graduate program provides an early career physiotherapist an opportunity to work in a variety of settings including acute, aged care, community outpatients and group exercise classes as part of dynamic team of physiotherapists and exercise physiologists. You will be supported to undergo additional training opportunities which will be tailored to your needs and preferences.

These training opportunities will include physiotherapy specific skills, multidisciplinary training with other early career professionals, attendance at professional conferences and access to clinical supervision. Access to quality improvement and research opportunities are also provided.
