About the role
The physiotherapy department has a great opportunity for an enthusiastic and dynamic Allied Health Assistant to join our team. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential for this position.
As part of this role your duties will include, but are not limited to, collecting and preparing equipment, work directly with or under the supervision of an Allied Health Professional (AHP), work independently or in a team following a prescribed program set by the AHP, accurately document client progress and maintain client records as required.
You will bring:
- Certificate III or IV Allied Health Assistant
- Accuracy in record keeping
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A demonstrated capacity to work flexibly

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check.
There are mandatory vaccination requirements at WDHS – current immunisation records and evidence is required.
