Bed Coordinator Clerk

Permanent Full Time

76 hours per fortnight

About the role

The Bed Coordinator Clerk will be primarily involved with the coordination and communication around patient admissions from the GP clinics and transfer of patients in and out of Western District Health Service.

This role will require excellent communication skills, as the Bed Coordinator clerk will encounter a diverse range of professionals within the healthcare industry as part of their daily duties.

The successful applicant will display empathy, compassion towards patients, and patient’s families, and a collaborative approach to the clinical professionals involved in patient care.

The Bed Coordinator clerk will be based in the Health Information Department, and supports the Admission team of elective and emergency admissions, and the health information staff in admin tasks for patient data and details. 

This position reports to the Health Information Manager

The role is Monday to Friday.
