About the role

Our primary and preventative department is actively seeking a highly motivated Community Social Worker to join our dynamic and collaborative multidisciplinary team. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for delivering counselling and rural outreach services to our community.

The position will provide valuable assistance to community members seeking access to Allied Health Services as outpatients, promoting health and wellbeing outcomes through early intervention. The successful applicant will confidently participate in clinical meetings and committees, while taking an active role in developing and delivering group work areas such as chronic disease, postnatal depression, anger management, conflict resolution/mediation, mental health first aid, stress and anxiety, and rural adjustment issues as required.
