About the role

Western District Health Service (WDHS) is seeking applications from people interested in pursuing or continuing a career as a valued  Community Support Services Transport Officer.

As a Community Support Services Transport Officer your primary objective is to coordinate and provide a safe and reliable community transport service for residents of the Southern Grampians Shire. This role requires assisting transport users with tasks including but not limited to shopping, appointments and social outings.

The successful applicant will have experience in driving a bus or similar vehicle, have an awareness of the sensitivities of the needs of transport users and have sound administrative skills.

Depending on the position the successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a Police Criminal Check, employee Victorian Working with Children Check and be willing to undertake a Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check. Current immunisation records/evidence is required, including COVID and Booster requirements
