Position                          Healthcare Worker Birches – Hamilton

Work Type                      Permanent Part Time – with up to full time hours per fortnight available

                                                      Casual work also available

About the role

We are seeking a Health Care Worker to join our enthusiastic team at the Birches.

The role will assist residents to maintain their independence wherever possible and to provide daily care using a person-centred approach in accordance to the resident’s individual care plans. The successful candidate will contribute to harmonious relationships within the team and work positively to achieve resident and team goals.

Hours of work will include shift work, weekends and public holidays.

 

You will bring:

  • Certificate III in Aged Care/Individual Support or equivalent
  • Advanced communication skills
  • High levels of energy
  • Person centred approach

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
