About the role
WDHS is seeking a bubbly, easy-going, energetic person who enjoys collaborating with the team to cover long term sick leave for our Leisure and Lifestyle Coordinator at our Birches Campus. The suitable candidate will work full-time Monday to Friday providing activities, of the Resident’s choice, to our community at the Birches.
Experience and understanding of persons with dementia and of the aged care standards are desirable. Excellent communication and organisational skills are essential. The applicant must have the ability to work independently and in team environment.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required. All employees must comply with WDHS vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster shots. WDHS is a smoke-free workplace.
