Social Support Groups Admin Support Officer

Permanent Part Time 14 hours per fortnight available

This role is fixed term by mutual agreement , one day per week and the WDHS Hamilton Campus

About the role

This role is working in the Social Support Group primarily at the Hamilton Campus, Allied Health. As part of this role you will be required to work in the team as as a Co-Leader in program planning, delivery, evaluation and building on community connections, assisting with transporting from and to members’ homes and on outings, facilitate a creative, dynamic, productive program in a safe working environment.

You will build partnerships to maximise independence and wellness by supporting the members to build on their strengths and interests to achieve identified goals and monitor member’s health and wellbeing. The position includes preparation and serving of morning and afternoon tea and lunch, setting up and packing up activities. In addition to the advertised hours, there is opportunity to apply for part of the hours available and to work up additional hours to back fill and work in the Saturday Out and About program

  

You will bring:

  • Minimum Certificate III in Community Services Leisure and Health, Allied Health Assistant or equivalent
  • Clerical Computer Skills 
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A demonstrated capacity to work flexibly

The successful applicant will hold, or be able to obtain, a current National Criminal Police Check. Dependant on your position you may be required to obtain a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check and / or NDIS Worker Screening Check. All successful applicants are to comply with WDHS immunisation and vaccination requirements, including COVID and Booster requirements.
