Western District Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Ward Clerk within the Medical Unit

The successful applicant will undertake reception duties for the Medical Unit. Duties will include providing excellent customer service to patients and their families presenting to the Medical Unit, performing key administrative duties and working closely with the clinical team in coordinating work flow of the department.

This role is Full Time which will require the successful applicant to display interpersonal skills, be able to perform a range of complex tasks, be team-orientated and enthusiastic towards your work and WDHS values.

The Ward Clerk Medical Unit will provide administrative support to the Nurse Unit Manager and other key stakeholders.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
