About the role
Western District Health Service has an exciting opportunity for a Ward Clerk / Receptionist in the Pre Admissions team.
The successful applicant will provide customer centred services to patients.
Provide clerical and Reception Duties for the Preadmissions Clinic.
Duties will include, but not be limited to, booking of appointments for patients with pre admissions, preparing of patient records and stock ordering and control.
You will need to display interpersonal skills, be able to perform a range of complex tasks, be team-orientated and enthusiastic towards your work and WDHS values.
This person will also work closely with the Ward Clerk in the Operating Theatre, in coordinating work flows and relieving Theatre Ward Clerk during time of absence.

The successful candidate must have or obtain a National Criminal Police Check. Depending on the role, a Working with Children Check Clearance, Disability Worker Exclusion Scheme check, and/or NDIS Worker Screening Check may also be required.
