Clinical Services – Pool

HCW Grade 2 – 3 (IN38 – IN39)

Permanent Full/Part Time

Multiple positions available

We are seeking motivated individuals to join our team at Grampians Health – Horsham & Dimboola Campuses as Health Care Workers. These permanent full or part time positions are available for an immediate start and involve working a rotating 7 day roster, including afternoon / evenings and night duty. This role will be expected to assist across Acute and Residential Services areas. The successful applicant will assist with the delivery of activities including daily living and supportive care to patients, under the direction and supervision of a Registered Nurse. Key Selection Criteria include:

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent
  • Well-developed oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritise and work effectively without direct supervision
  • A commitment to customer service and patient-centred care.

Desirable:

  • Previous experience as a Health Care Worker
  • Current food handling certificate
  • Current Level 1 First Aid certificate

Kurrajong Lodge

HCW Grade 2 – 3 (CW11 – WP11)
Permanent Part Time
(42 hrs per fortnight)

We are seeking applications from Health Care Workers to join our dedicated Kurrajong Lodge team. This permanent part time position is available from June 2022 and includes working a rotating 7 day, 24 hour roster. This role involves delivering the day-to-day care of residents according to their care plan and in collaboration with the resident and other members of the health care team.

Key Selection Criteria include:

Essential:

  • Certificate III in Individual Support, or similar, that includes assist with medication component
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Computer literacy
  • Ability to prioritise and self-direct the workload
  • Commitment to quality customer service and person centred care

Desirable:

  • Current Level 1 First Aid certificate
  • Current food handling certificate
  • Previous experience in residential care services
